  • The Stock Market Crash in 1929. The Stock Market crashed signaled the beginning of the Great Depression. And lots of people were really sad and mad because they lost all their money.

  • The Great Migration was the relocation of more than 6 million African Americans from the rural South to the cities of the North, Midwest and West from about 1916 to 1970.

  • The Dust Bowl started in 1930-1936. The dust bowl was caused by several economic and agricultural factors, including federal land policies, changes in regional weather, farm economics and other cultural factors. Many people started Great Depression and a lot of people were trying to find hope.
