On December 1, 1855, Rosa Parks was waiting for the bus to travel to her destination.
When is the bus coming?
The bus arrived and she looked for a seat.
Yay, it is here!
She found a seat, but it was the last one available, which was in the black section, since everything was split by race.
Oh, here is a seat. The last one.
I am going to call the police on you and you will go to jail!
On the next bus stop, all seats were already occupied and the bus driver told Rosa Parks to free her seat for a Caucasian man
I have to sit! Get off the seat!
Rosa Parks did not back out without for her sit on the bus. However the bus threatened her by calling the cops.
NO! THIS IS THE BLACK SECTION AND I HAVE THE RIGHT TO SIT ON THE SPOT!
Rosa Parks ended up going to jail for roughly a day. As time passed by, more African-Americans fought for their rights no matter the consequences. This woman became well known in today's society because of what an impact she made to the world of rights.
