My favorite time is nighttime so I can sit and enjoy the stars on my family's cool rooftop!
We play fun games all day such as board games, we play with toys, and we even were the founder of dice!
Northern India Time Period-3300-3000 Indus River Valley: Mohenjo-Daro
Now my crops are prepared for the floods to come!
The Indus people loved games and not only invented dice, but also played with clay sculpted toys and could have even been the founder of the popular game we know as chess. the people also spent most of their times on rooftops because it was cooler and less crowded.
And I always feel safe inside our well-protected city!
Now we can get nice clean water and not worry about getting sick!
The Indus River Valley lived on the banks of a river called the Indus River that started in the Himalayan mountains. As the river traveled to the Arabian sea it carved out a valley where the Indus people settled.
Twice every year the river flooded, giving nutrience and water to the Indus people.
When it came to their city the indus people were very neat and smart. For example, their roads were straight in criss cross patterns to form city blocks. Their roads were even big enough to ride elaphants through them! not only that but they also had their very own sewer and drains so they get nice clean water and wash away the rubbish.
The Indus people also did things such as took showers of course, but also had religion. THey beleived the the cow was giver of life and that there was a mother godess and even had a place called The Great Bath located in Mohenjo-Daro beleived by archaeologists to be a simble of purity.
