A light comes on and Scrooge is aware of his surroundings. Scrooge. Fezziwig? It can't be you? Second Spirit. Hello, Scrooge. I am the Spirit of Christmas Past. Lets begin our journey.
The Second Spirit takes Scrooge to Bob Cratchit's house. Scrooge learns about Tiny Tim and Bob's family members. Scrooge realized how hard it is at home for Bob.
You should have told me! I could have helped him.
It is like you said, if he wishes to die, he would take down the surplus population as well.
Bob Cratchit and his wife discuss what they each think about Scrooge. Mrs.Cratchit. I wish I had him here! I'd give him a piece of my mind to feast upon. Bob Cratchit. I only know one thing on Christmas: that one must be charitable.
Bob Cratchit and his wife then start discussing how ill Tiny Tim is. Scrooge and the Second Spirit stay and listen to what they say. Scrooge is really listening at this point in the time. Second Spirit. He is very ill. Even song cannot keep him whole through a cold winter.
The Second Spirit and Scrooge go back to the first room and discuss what is happening to Tiny Tim. Scrooge is upset that he couldn't do anything to help Tiny Tim. He says there should be happiness in Christmas Present.
Scrooge was taken back home and realized how lucky he was to be alive and well. He learned that instead of taking life for granted, he should spend his earnings on ways to helping people.
