Storyboard Text

  • We rode old smelly boxcars for days, with many other Jews. None of us knew were we were going, when food would be made available, or when the train would stop.
  • When will we eat!?
  • Where's the bathroom?
  • Where ar we going?
  • When will this nightmare end?!
  • When we finally arrived we looked at our new "residence" we were all shocked. For miles all you could see we wooden huts and hundreds of sick, tired looking people working, all wearing loose blue and white striped clothing. And German soldiers were everywere.
  • I'm Hungry.
  • Get back to work!
  • When me and my family finally got used to living in the camp we were all constantly sad. We were angry at the Germans, and angry at god. Why would our creator do this to us? Months went by, and one day Schindlers list went up, and ll our names were on it.
  • We have to survive.
  • How? We are all certanly going to die.
  • I hate it here!
  • We soon learned being on Schindler's list was a good thing. We soon left Bernew and went to Schindler's new factory. Yes we were safer, but food was still scarce. We were still called names. But beatings were rare, and death was almost unheard of.
  • Schindler was a kind man, he often strolled around and had conversations with us Jew's. At first I was unsure of how to act around him but he was nice to us all. Me and my father and older brother helped build militrary equipment. While my motherv sewed uniforms..
  • How are you today?
  • Good thank you.
  • Although Schindler was a kind person, me and my family all just wanted one thing... FREEDOM
