  • It was 1930, when Noah McVicker worked in a soap factory in Ohio center.
  • He prepared with fluor, water, salt, boric acid, and silicone oil a white sticky dough, capable of removing the soot that the coal heating left on wallper. This sticky dough, had a big success, because it was effective.

  • Then ended the Second World War and coal heating ceased to exist thereforethe sticky doug hwas no longer necesary.

  • Noah wanted to close the factory, but his sister in-law gave him the idea of turning his stick dough into clay, because he reaized that his students used it for another purpose.
  • He took the idea and turned his stick dough into children's play clay and it was a great success, and he called Play-Doh
