Storyboard Text

  • The duke will be coming here tonight.
  • Why?
  • There's a war brewing between the Dukes of Cornwall and Albany.
  • The Duke's presence fits right into my plan...
  • Brother! You must flee, they think you to be on Albany's side and Father knows where you hide!
  •                                 What are you talking about?
  • Curan tells Edmund that the Duke of Cornwall is coming to stay with them tonight.
  • They are coming. Edgar, pull your sword out so that we can pretend that we were fighting. Now go run!!
  • Goodbye Brother.
  • Edmund realizes that Cornwall's visit will help him with his scheme to get rid of Edgar. He wants to get rid of Edgar because he is the real son of Glouchester and therefore will inherit the throne. (Edmund is the bastard son).
  • I need blood on me so it looks like i fought more fiercely.
  • Edmund tricks his brother Edgar and convinces him to run away. 
  • Look SIr, I'm bleeding.
  • Where is the villain! Go after him!
  • Edmund hears Glouchester is coming, and he tells his brother to pull his sword out so that they can pretend that they were fighting. Edgar makes his escape.
  • Edmund cuts his own arm to make it seem like they actually fought.
  • Glouchester comes and wonders where Edgar went. (He refers to Edgar as villain in this part of the play)
