  • Rome attacked Carthage
  • Romes victory!!!
  • And here we go again!
  • The Punic war was because Rome and Carthage both wanted Sicily. Carthage was very lucky because already had colonies set up in Sicily. Rome had a soft spot, this was because they were not used to fighting on sea but, the Carthaginians were.
  • Romes second victory!!!
  • More then 2 decades had passed and the war had ended. Rome had went home with Sicily. Carthaginians were very upset because they had lost a lot. Not only had they lost Sicily, they also had to pay a huge fine!
  • Third punic war
  • After another 3 4 decades the second Punic war broke out. This time the person leading the Carthaginians was Hannibal. Hannibal had a great idea but had ruined it with one terrible one. He had brought 40 elephants to fight with them but, took them into the frezzing alps
  • That's it, its over
  • Rome had once again won another war against Carthage. Hannibal had not been able to get Carthage what it wanted and needed. He had though, made Carthage have to pay another huge fine and Rome had control over the west Mediterranean and much of Spain.
  • Here is your money
  • Carthage had assaulted Romes Numidian neighbors. This had yet again given Rome another great reason to spring at Carthage. This war though unlike the others lasted 3 years only!
  • You have threatened our friends this means WAR!!
  • After the third Punic war Carthage surrendered, But Rome was not done. They burned the city-state and on top of that they sprinkled salt over the grass! They enslaved all Carthaginians and made them pay another fine. Carthage now belonged to Rome!
  • we surrender!!
