Benjamin Crawford was the new leader of the Kingdom of Yierwen following his father's death. He was quickly leading his kingdom toward freedom from the Persian Empire when his most fatal flaw brought upon unforeseen troubles that lead to a devastating downfall.
Benjamin's tragic flaw was his ambition and pride. He would stop at nothing to win freedom for his country. His flaws only grew as he won more battles.
Benjamin never stops. He fights a battle no matter the circumstance or what his people think. His blinding ambition and strive to win was more harmful to his people than he knew. He thought he was helping his country.
Benjamin is about to enter a fight that his people know he can never win, and they fear for their lives. So, they betray Benjamin and flee the battle to leave their king alone to fight. Benjamin was quickly captured by the Persians and jailed.
While sitting in jail, Benjamin realizes his mistakes. He put his people and kingdom in danger while in his quest to do the exact opposite and earn the country its freedom. He knows that his own ambition and pride lost him everything and that he deserves his ending.
This is all my fault...I was only doing it for my country.
Because of the trouble he caused to the Persian Empire and his reluctance to beg for mercy, Benjamin is brutally tortured and beheaded. In the end, he learned to never let ambition and pride get in the way of what is really important and is best for the people.
