- Hey Hunahpu, Have you seen that invitation from the Lords of Death to go and see them to play ball?
- Yes Xbalanque. They think we will be tricked like our dad and uncle and die. We won't.

- Yes. It stinks here. Those Lords will try and trick us to kill us
- We've got over the river of spikes, the river of blood and nearly across the river of pus.
- Dad thought it was real but it was a trick. If we get 2 tricks wrong they will kill us.
- Remember that is just a wooden statue and not the Lords.
- Hunahpu and Xbalanque are sitting down after playing a game of ball. The Lords of Death have invited them to the underworld to play ball because they don't like the noise their supporters make when watching them.
- Sit down on the seat while we think
- We've been tricked
- Ouch - its burnt me
- On the way to the underworld they travel over dangerous rivers because the Lords want them to die.
- Throw the ashes in the river
- Jump over the fire
- The Lords won't let us go until we die
- They died in the end. Why did they just jump in the fire and not try to get over it?
- Let's jump in the fire
- They get to the underworld and a wooden statue is waiting. The Lords are trying to trick them but they know it is a trick. The Lords are annoyed that the boys weren't tricked.
- We've been tricked! Let's go.
- The Lords of Death ask the boys to sit down on a seat while they talk. The boys sit down but it is a trick. The seat is boiling hot and burns the boys. The Lords ask the boys to do other tasks but they don't fail and think that the Lords will carry on until they die
- The Lords of Death tell the boys to jump over an oven fire but the boys know that they will keep being tested until they die so they decide to jump into the fire. The Lords throw the ashes of the boys into the river but the boys came alive again as catfishes and then humans. They realised that they couldn't die and became famous for chopping themselves up and putting themselves back again.
- The Lords heard about the boys and asked to see them. The Lords asked to be chopped up and put back again. The boys chopped a few Lords up but didn't put them together again. The Lords realised that they would lose and sent the boys back. The Gods Of Heaven had given the boys magic and brought them up to the Sky. One boy became the Sun and the other became the Moon. Their children became the rulers of the earth.
