In the beginning, there was nothing but flat land. Then a rainbow serpent woke from its slumber and began to roam the Earth.
Along its journey, the serpent made many markings in the land from its body piercing through the surface of the Earth. These markings on its made many mountains and ditches.
As the serpent continued to journey, he awoke all of the frogs. The serpent tickled all the frogs in the land and as the frogs laughed all the lakes and oceans filled with water. This was because of all the water which fell from the frog whilst it was laughing.
Once the Earth was finally formed, the serpent spoke to all the animals stating, "All who don't cooperate with my laws will be turned to stone instead of being granted human life."
The following day, the serpent finished turning all 'non-followers' into stone and all followers into human-form. From here, life was created and the Earth began to populate with people.
As human life began to populate the Earth, the serpent went into hiding. Whilst the serpent was in hiding, many peoples began to create tribes and cultures. This was how the Indigenous culture and peoples were created.
