After finding out that the road her daughter was traveling could result in her death. Emily's mom called a rehab cite and asked them what them for help. She talked to her daughter and convinced her to join a rehab program for at least 6 months, and made sure she was as comfortable as she could be. But it wasn't easy from there. Emily's battle had just begun.
Emily had to detox and went through withdrawal. She had to be monitored by doctors and nurses for the following week. She experienced insomnia, anxiety, muscle tension, and had a decreased appetite. She felt horrible.
But after she'd detoxed, she started to feel better and was put on the path to rehabilitation.
She started doing group therapy, counseling, and she learned about the dangers of drug use, and how to avoid triggering drug usage.
And though sometimes she felt like relapsing through the support of other patients, her counselor, and her mom, Emily was able to overcome the addiction in the end, and go home.
