  • Alliteration is the occurance of the same letter/sound at the beginning of a word in a sentence. Example: The little lizard loathed the large lion
  • Personification is when you give an inanimate object human qualities Example: The sun smiled on the new day
  • A hyperbole is an exaggeration. Example: I shot a million arrows!!
