Storyboard Text

  • Hello. I am Lord Fairfax, a Loyalist, and an owner of a plot of land in Virginia.
  • Oh my!!!!! seemingly revolutionary type of confrontation has become evident to me amongst the people. I must now flee to Canada, but not because I am fearing a very near death.
  • We note that this Loyalist has fled his land. And we do hereby, with rightful thought, seize this land back from him to give to another.
  • Virginia
  • Why did the Virginia Legislation seize my land while I was away? This problem will indeed create many issues that I am not accurately prepared to address presently. I shall take the land back eventually. (He never dealt with the issue.)
  • Many years later....
  • I, David Hunter,a true American, am truly uplifted by the land i have received from the Virginia Legislation.
  • We should go to the court to settle this argument over the land.
  • My Great Uncle Fairfax has given me, Thomas Martin, my inheritance of the land he once owned in Virginia.
  • Treaty of Paris
  • Evidence
  • I have come to appeal to you in order to properly inherit the land of my Great Uncle Fairfax.
  • Jay's Treaty
  • Virginia State Court
