Military Tribunal to conduct the Nuremberg trials stemmed from the London Agreement of August 8, 1945. Representitives from the United States, Great Britain, The Soviet Union, and the provisional government of france Signed an agreement to bring these trials to life.
Held to bring nazi war criminals to justice, the nuremberg tiral defendants include nazi party officials, high-ranking military officers, along with German industrialists, lawyers and doctors were indicated on such charges as crimes against peace and crimes against humanity.
The tribunal was given the authority to find any individual guilty of crimes against peace.
