  • One cold winter night in the 1800's in an old town house with a boggy road in Europe. Mr. White, his wife and son were all in the living room. They were waiting for Sergeant Major Morris.
  • Climax
  • Sergeant Major Morris showed up at the house and Mr.White introduced him to his wife. Sergeant Major Morris showed them the monkey's paw and threw it in the fire. Mr. White grabbed the paw out of the fire .
  • Falling Action
  • Mr. White decided to wish for 200 pounds to pay off his mortgage. He was waiting to get the 200 pounds, but do you really think it would just get handed to him? There was a consequence.
  • Resolution
  • The man from Herbert's work was pacing by the door. Mr.White and Mrs. White answered the door and the man was nervous to tell them about their son. Herbert got caught in the machinery at work and passed away. The man said that Herbert's work said they would give them 200 pounds for the death of Herbert
  • That night Mrs.White didn't go straight up to bed because she was still upset about Herbert passing. Mrs.White asked her husband if he still has the paw and he said yes. She told him to go downstairs and get the paw because they still have two wishes left. He went downstairs and got the paw. Mrs. White wished for Herbert to come back to life.
  • They heard a knock at the door and Mrs and Mr. White ran downstairs. Mrs. White was getting very excited, but Mr. White wasn't to excited because he thought that Herbert would come back as a zombie or something like that. Before Mrs. White could open the door Mr. White wished for Herbert to stay at the graveyard, when the door was able to open no one was there.
