  • It is my duty
  • Where is the captain of this crowd? I challenge one of you to a joust.
  • I will go, King Arthur!
  • The Green Knight shows up to the round table asking who is in charge. The knight is looking for someone to joust-hit for hit over the course of a year. 
  • Green Girdle
  • Arthur was the one who was going to take up the offer, but Sir Gawain volunteers in Arthur's place. 
  • Gawain was given the chance to hit The Green Knight, knocking of his head. His head then flew onto the ground and The Knight picked it up and walked out.
  • A year later, Gawain was on his way to deal with his consequences and a lady provided him with a green girdle that saves him from any harm.
  • Gawain scorned to feel afraid bye the ax to his neck. It turned out that the ax cannot harm an honest man.
  • The Green Knight exchanged kind words to Gawain and no one dies. The end.
