Storyboard Text

  • True!-very, very dreadfully nervous I had been... but why will you say that I am mad?
  • I dunno, Chief said you were.
  • In jail, after the events of the story
  • It's impossible to say how first the idea entered my brain; but once conceived, it haunted me day and night.  I loved the old man... however his eye- pale blue eye that resembled a vultures... it tortured me.
  • Thump thump.......
  • The old man's time had come! With a shriek I dragged him to the floor and pulled the bed over him. Finally, the old man's heart stopped, he was dead.
  • I then chopped up the body and hid it under the floorboards.
  • The scream was my own, from a bad dream.
  • Officers showed up at the door about a scream.
  • The Police were shown around the house then stopped to chat.
  • I placed my own seat directly upon the body under the floorboards.
  • The officers talked and talked... they never seemed to go away!- and suddenly I could hear this low, dull, quick sound ringing in my ears. I couldn't take it!
  • Villains! Dissemble no more! I admit the deed!- Tear up the planks!- Here, here!- It is the beating of his hideous heart!
  • Yup, he's mad Chief.
  • Told you Allen.
