Here in Sumer people water their crops using a complex irrigation system to bring water from the Euphrates and the Tigris rivers. They also invented the plow. It was an easier and more efficient way to plant crops.
Social structure went like this: kings,merchants and then slaves. If you could write, you were instantly a scribe and were top class. Scribes wrote down laws and rituals.
Religion was very important to the people of Sumer. They built temples and statues to please their gods. They also built special temples called ziggurats. They believed their gods lived\resided in these places.
In Sumer people played music on instruments called lyres. It was believed that these instruments pleased the gods.
In Sumer technology wasn't the Iphone X. It was simple things. One example is a sledge. A sledge was used to help make moving things more easily.
