Storyboard Text

  • Thank you young man. I will read these soon.
  • You are very welcome.
  • In 1775 Tomas Paine started to write Common Sense which was a pamplet he was writting. It influenced the Declaration of Independance and he published it in 1776.
  • When Thomas Paine finshed his pamplet he went through the streets giving people copies of his pamplet to help them support being independent from Great Britan. Some of the people he gave the pamplet to they did not want it but some did want his pamplet. But he wanted America to be independant.
  • Once he was finally done hading them out, he brought them to General George Washington while America was still under rule by Great Britain.
  • The next week he got a letter from  George Washington saying that he read his pamplet and would like him to join a new team he created called the Founding Fathers, and also stated that they would fight for their freedom.
  • Then Paine went to the first Founding Fathers meeting and they just found out that they have won the Revolutionary War. Then they decided to write the Declaration of Independance for their Independance from Great Britan.
  • The pamplet that Tomas Paine wrote influenced the Declaration of Indepedence in 1776. It made us become independant and we made our own Government which let us become our own contry. Thanks Tomas Paine!
