  • Quartering Act 1765
  • Stamp Act 1765
  • WHAT?!! They used to be free!
  • The stamps are now 10 coins now sir.
  • Boston Massacre 1770
  • King George III sent several thousand British soldiers to the colonies to enforce the proclomation.
  • Boston Tea Party 1773
  • Taxes were placed on stamps.
  • Intolerable Acts 1774
  • No more town meetings by the way sir.
  • After a large crowd started to argue with soldiers outside the Customs House shots and chaos broke out.
  • Lexington and Concord 1775
  • The colonist invaded the British ships and destroyed what would be millions of dollars of tea todya.
  • Town meetings were prohibited and legislatures were not allowed to meet.
  • WHAT!!!?
  • After Parliament rejected all of the First Continental Congress' offers they sent soldiers to take care of the colonist. 
  • NO WAY!
