  • Rising Action
  • The Queen, Snow White's step-mother, is jealous of her beauty.  She wants to be the fairest in the land.
  • Climax
  • The Queen sends a huntsman to kill Snow, but he lets the innocent girl go.
  • Snow wanders into the forest and finds a cottage with seven dwarfs.  The Queen then finds out that she is still alive.
  • The Queen tries to kill Snow three other times.  First, she disguises as a peddler and shows Snow how to lace her corset "properly."  Instead, she ties it too tight and Snow was not able to breathe.   Next, the Queen gave Snow White a poisonous comb.  When she combed her hair with it, the poison killed her.  Both attempts failed, the dwarfs were able to awake Snow White.  Lastly, the Queen gave Snow a poisonous apple, which killed her.
  • The dwarfs could not wake Snow, but a prince came and demanded the coffin to be brought to him.  The dwarfs stumbled and the coffin lunged forward, which made the Snow cough up a piece of apple and she woke up.  After, the prince and Snow got married.  At their wedding, they made the Queen wear hot, iron shoes and she was forced to dance to death.  The Queen was dead and everyone lived happily-ever-after.
