  • Hubris John's hates hypocrites, which makes him hesitate to blame Abigail since he is also guilty.

  • Anagnorisis Proctor believed they could put this problem aside but Abigail is determine to be with him.

  • Can't we just forget this for the better?
  • Peripeteia Johm admits to committing adultery with Abigail and is accused of witchcraft. He loses his resputation.
