  • In this speech, Martin Luther helps bring the audience to the conclusion that they are fighting along with the many great founding fathers of this country, that what they themselves have fought for in their life time is what Martin Luther and his race is fighting for today, he shows that he is the "good guy" in society.
  • He is trying to help the audience relate to money, something everyone upon his crowd understands, he is reasoning that at some point or another, everyone in his audience has received a bad check from government, something he agrees is a wrong doing, he reasons that the black race is always targeted in society.
  • He is trying to connect emotionally to his audience by using family, something valuable to this specific race. He explains that one day, he can wish upon the freedom of his children to not be judged by thier looks, but what's truly in there heart. He uses this in his speech because this is a common goal upon the people.
