  • That's cool but why is it called the powerhouse.
  • It's called he powerhouse because it turns nutarians/food into energy and energy is what keeps you going so it gives the cell power.
  • Now let me tell you about mitochondria. It is known as the powerhouse of the cell, it even has it's own DNA
  • Ok mom, you've been doing all the talking. now let me tell you something about cells.
  • Well, if you didn't know there is something called endoplasmic reticulum
  • Ok, let's see what you know
  • E. P. is is the place where materials are processed and moved around inside the cell.
  • So now we have a powerhouse and warehouse
  • Ok, what is that
  • All of that kind of makes me think that this is a warehouse
  • Well thanks for helping me. I'm going to do some homework now
  • Alright, let me know if you need any help.
  • Today for my daily research I found out other parts of cells and their functions. These are the things I found out on my own. Centrioles: centrioles are bundles of microtubes that help organize the movement of chromosomes during cell division. CYTOPLASM: cytoplasm is a jelly-like substance the is located inside the cell it is made of mostly water and most of the cell parts are on the cytoplasm. RIbosomes: ribosomes produce protein in the cell.
