Boston Massacre 1770
The king made all land west of the Applachian Mountains off limits to the colonists. I believe this influence the American Revolution because this made the colonists not move west even though they helped in the war.
Boston Tea Party 1773
After England enforced the Stamp Act of 1765 which the colonists made the British take away. Then, the British made the Townshed Act of 1767 which taxed goods including glass, lead, tea, and paper. This influence the American Revolution because the colonists didn't have a voice in the creation of the tax and felt that their rights and freedom were being threatened.
Intolerable Acts 1774
Several soldiers were stationed in front of the Customs House. A shot was fired into the crowd and chaos broke out. This influenced the American Revolution because 5 colonists died from the shooting.
Lexington and Concord 1775
The 1773 Tea Act forced colonist to buy tea only from England. This made the colonists super angry so they dumped the tea on the England ships into the harbor. This influenced the American Revolution because this was another example on how the colonists didn't have a saying in the decisions.
Military rule was imposed on the cities and citizens had to house British soldiers, after England found out on what the colonists had done.
Parliament rejected every request made by the First Continental Congress. British soldiers left Boston to Lexington and Concord to find colonial weapons and two troublemakers. This influenced the American Revolution because Parliament rejected the requests.
