Inertia is a tendency for and object to resist a change in motion
Newtons First Law of Motion states that and object in motion will stay in motion and an object at rest will stay at rest unless other force is acted upon it.
Inertia is what keeps earth from falling out of its orbit. Its what keeps things moving and keeps things in one place.
Seat belts help protect you if you get into a car crash. They lower the risk of death and serious injuries. If seat belts weren't made there would be more and more deaths each year.
Inertia is also keeping this boat from stopping. It's keeping it moving. After all there are no seat belts on a boat or a cruise ship. You would most definitely get injured in a boat crash.
ALWAYS WEAR YOUR SEAT BELTS KIDS.....
Policemen ask that you wear them for your own safety. If they don't do their job of protecting people, they get fired. Seat belts reduce serious harm to people. Even though many deaths a year happen from car crashes
