Storyboard Text

  • My experience with DID has been complicated
  • At first, I didn't want to recognize I had a problem
  • I would convince myself that it was completely normal and I was fine
  • After being in denial for a long time, I realized I needed help
  • I am now receiving therapy and finally came to terms with my disorder
  • Sarah shares her experience with the disorder in an interview
  • You were great in yesterday's party Sarah!
  • She tells how she was in denial
  • I'm Alex, but Sarah says thanks
  • She concludes how she finally sought help and accepted her mental illness
  • Sounds like she is getting better.
  • 3 years later, Sarah has learned to accept her personalities. Her and her friend Morgan talk about the party of the previous day.
  • Sarah starts to gain acceptance with her disorder by acknowledging it and being open about it instead of trying to hide it like she used to.
  • Morgan starts to realize that Sarah is getting better with her disorder with her years in therapy.
