A man was walking alone one night, through a graveyard which had been dug up by the stormy waves of the dark evening. He came upon a skeleton, wearing the most magnificent ring he had ever seen.
Give me my ring!
The man greedily seized the beauty and brought it home to his wife. "Oh where did you get it?" she gushed. "It's the loveliest thing in the world!" and with that, they slipped of to bed.
A cold voice entered the room. "Give me my ring", it said. "What was that William? What did it say?" cried his wife. He reassured her that all was fine but the voice called again.
"Give me my ring!" it said, crossing the room. William's wife pulled the sheets over her head in fear but it was torn from her grasp and tossed into the air.
"I'll drag you out of bed by the hair!"it threatened. She started to panic. "Throw the ring through the window! THROW IT AWAY!" ordered William.
She through the ring as far as she could out the window. The bony figure took the ring and ran away, leaving the couple in the still darkness.
