Which book are you talking about? Who was the author?
I am talking about Night, by Elie Wiesel. In his book, he wrote a lot of small sentences to make a greater emotional impact on the readers.
Can you give an example?
Sure. Here, Elie just woke up his father after a long march from Auschwitz. His Dad wakes up and smiles. So look at this quote.
“I shall always remember that smile. From what world did it come from?”
