  • Mouth - chemical digestion from salivary glands mixing with food, physical digestion with teeth chewing.
  • Chewed-up food goes down esophagus
  • Stomach churns, enzymes produced from pancreas mixes with food.
  • Small intestine: Segmentations mix chyme with digestive juices 
  • Product leaves small intestine and moves into the villi
  • Villis are made up of many cells, and each cell has a micro villi, which increases the surface area
  • Oxygen+glucode creates energy and last of all, moves into the bloodstream. Waste product include water and carbon dioxide.
  • To be able to go through the bloodstream, the products have to be really small.
