Storyboard Text

  • Arff!
  • Nothings like a walk at the park with your dog! Especially when you can get a whole lot of fresh air!  "Huff" as she takes a deep breath.
  • Plants use the sun's energy to make Co2, water, and sugar into oxygen that we need to survive. This process is called photosynthesis.
  • Co2
  • Now that the deer ate a leaf from the tree a carbon molecule now transfers to the deer!
  • Now that the deer ate the trees leaf a carbon molecule has entered the deer's body.
  • This leaf is amazing!
  • Fast Forward a few years later the deer dies then the decomposer change the deer into fossil fuels. An example of a decomposer is bacteria.
  • Now that the deer had become fossil fuel  we would dug up the fossil fuel and use for energy!
  • We use fossil fuels for transportation ,  electricity plants, and heat homes. They are also used to make medicines, cosmetics, etc. when the carbon gets released into the atmosphere some leaves and some stay. Some of the carbon molecules bounce back from the atmosphere sending the molecules in different direction, coming back to earth.  There would be more carbon  than plants to take in. The earth would warm up because carbon dioxide is a  heat trapping green house gas.
