I have a test about treaties tomorrow. I will have to answer at least 8 questions about treaties, I'll practice by saying each answer to myself. Now, for the first question, how many nations are there in treaty 7? The answer to this is 5 nations. These nations include Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, Stoney Nakoda and the Tsuu'tina nation. All of these these nations lived in Southern Alberta, AKA, treaty 7. Now I'm to tell myself an extra fact to end this question, the Siksika nation is also known as the Blackfoot nation.
Now I have to answer the second question, what is the NWMP and why were they established in 1873? The NWMP is a Canadian police force that was established in 1873 by prime minister, Sir John McDonald, to maintain order in the Northwest Territories. An extra fact I'm going to say to myself to end this question is, the Tsuu'tina nation is well known/also known as the Sarcee nation.
Now I have to answer the third question, who was Queen Victoria and why did she send her representatives to sign treaty 7. The answer is, Queen Victoria was the Queen of the United Kingdom and the daughter of princess Victoria who was the princess of Germany. Queen Victoria sent her representatives to sign treaty 7 so she can claim their land and have more space for her Once the nation signs treaty 7 she gives everyone twelve dollars which would be about one hundred dollars nowadays. I'm going to tell myself an extra fact to end this question, the extra fact is, the Piikani nation is also known as the Peigan nation.
