  • Luna! Can you help me with the math homework?

  • So, you said you needed help with Order of Operations right?
  • Let's go inside first. & I'll explain.
  • Uh, WHAT?
  • So, PEMDAS stands for Parentheses, Exponents, Multiply, Divide, Add, & Subtract. C'mon, I'll explain in the boardroom.
  • It’s really easy, you just follow PEMDAS.
  • What about adding and subtracting?
  • PEMDAS Parenthesis Exponents Multiply Divide Add Subtract
  • You multiply or divide depending which sign is on the left first.
  • Same with adding & subtracting.
  • And for #2, I do the exponents then multiply & add right?
  • So, I subtract in the parentheses first then I divide right?
  • Order of Operations 1) 10/2(7-3)= 2) 2*2+62=
  • 1 is 20 & 2 is 40 right?
  • Yes!
  • Yep! Don't forget, if there's no sign between a number & parentheses, you multiply.
