The Whiskey Rebellion was an uproar during 1794 of farmers and distillers who protested over the taxation of whiskey. The taxation was an immediate failure and lasted 3 years. Many farmers rebelled this taxation because of their grain being taxed as well, their livelihood wasn't being balanced out the same.
The Federal Judiciary Act of 1789, also known as "An Act to Establish the Judicial Courts of the United States", was signed by George Washington on September 24, 1789. The Federal Judiciary Act was created to establish a federal court system. This brought the US Supreme Court System and the Judicial branch.

Marbury v Madison was a US Supreme Court case which occurred during 1803. This case was the one who established the principle of judicial review. The reasoning behind the establishing of the judicial review was because the US Supreme Court declared that an act was unconstitutional.
The Alien Act was passed by a Federalist Congress on 1798 and signed by John Adams. This act stated that the government could deport foreigners and make it difficult for them to vote. The reasoning behind creating this act was because John Adams thought he could kicked anybody who liked France out of the US.
The Sedition Act was passed by a Federalist Congress on 1798 and signed by John Adams, along with the Alien Act. This act was to prohibit and make illegal for US citizens to oppose the government. This broke the 1st Amendment because US citizens didn't have freedom of speech anymore.
The Louisiana Purchase happened during 1803 during the presidency of Jefferson. The US purchased this land from France's ruler, Napoleon Bonaparte, for $15 million. After the purchase the US gained 500 million acres! This was a big accomplishment for the US because they finally got the port of New Orleans and controlled the Mississippi River.
