We decided to keep him in the cave. Then I left to go and see if anyone is looking for the boy. I expected to see men out searching for kidnappers but the landscape was peaceful. “Perhaps,” says I to myself, “the kidnapping has not yet been discovered.” So I went back to the cave when I got there I found Bill backed up against a wall and the boy with a rock his hands.
The boy tortured Bill every time I left or even the time when "I was woken by Bill when he screamed because the kid was going to scalp him." Then I finally wrote the letter asking for $1500.
The next day I went to go and see if the dad put the letter where he told him to. "He did and in his letter he said that we had to pay him $250 so we did when we returned him!"
