It is Hanukkah time and nobody was able to get anyone presents, but Anne surprised them with presents for all of them. Peter tries to help, but knocks over a chair making a gigantic noise and everyone panics. Mr. Frank decides to go check down stairs, he returns, saying a thief broke in and stole some money and a radio.

Mr. Kraler was being black mailed by a ware house worker. Anne is starting to getting irritable from her loneliness. Mr. Kraler is in the hospital for ulsers
Mr. Van Daan's been steeling food from the storage box and eating it for himself. Mrs. Frank flips out in a "righteous rage" and demands that Mr. Van Daan to leave. In the end everyone relizes that they must not turn on each other and every one is forgiven.
Anne and the others were arrested and sent to concentration camps. Miep tells Mr. Kraler that the office thief was the one who sold them out.
