well, that is to be expected when you are wearing all white. It is a sunny day today so the sun's rays are coming down to earth due to radiation with no clouds to stop them mabey next time try to wear white clothing on a sunny day.

that is also a something that happens on a hot day, it is called heat conduction. when a material is exposed to a heat source especialy conductors like metals.
the heat source heats up some of the particles which then move faster and spread the heat to the other particles.
although this prosses is effrective in metals like that pole, it is less effective in insulators like wood and plastic.

it is windy because the sun 's rays are heating the air particles around us causing them to spread apart and lose density, which in turn makes the cool air sink causing a convection curent.
