Storyboard Text

  • I lost my appetite
  • GOD! Today I have to teach the class about the digestive system!
  • Today, we are learning about the digestive system and we have to start with the esophagus.   It is the long tube you can see on the chalk board.
  • The Esophagus is the start of the Digestive system's process. Where food goes down to the stomach
  • After the mouth and the Esophagus, there comes the stomach and pancreas. They are where the food is made into the paste or vomit.
  • The stomach and pancreas use the bile which is stored in the gallbladder to make the paste.
  • The liver is where the bile is made. Bile is an acid which is used in the stomach and bile is stored in the gallbladder.
  • The liver is where the bile acid comes from. It gets stored in the gallbladder.
  • The large and small intestines are getting nutrients and storing the waste in the rectum.
  • It takes about 8-12 hours to go through the whole process.
  • The appendix store good bacteria. And the rectum is where waste leaves the body.
