The city of Thebes was facing great troubles after the death of King Laius. A plague has occurred and they don't know how to get rid of it. The priest has asked Oedipus, the new king if he can help the city.
Creon comes with news from the Gods and wants to tell Oedipus. He says that the only way to stop the plague was by finding Laius' murderer and exile or kill him.
