American dream- In this scene it shows George and Lennie on their own land. In the time of the story have your own land was the american dream and that is what George and Lennie wanted.
Broken plans- In this scene it shows Curley's wife being sad because she was not able to be a actor like she wanted to be. This shows broken plans because she is married to someone she doesn't like and is on a ranch but she had plans to be a actor.
Lonely- In this scene it is showing Crooks being lonely. In the story he is mad and mean to everyone he talks to Because he does not know how to talk to people because he is always lonely.
Powerlessness- In this scene it just shows Lennie and Curley's wife. In the book Lennie did not mean to kill curley's wife but that shows how powerless she was to a man like Lennie.
