Storyboard Text

  • The Beginning
  • The Struggle to Survive
  • Variation and Adaption
  • The story begins in the North Pole where we look at different color hares trying to survive and fight for their lives.
  • Survival of the Fittest
  • The rabbits produce offspring and therefore have different color children.
  • Natural Selection
  • In this part of natural selection, adaptation of the tan colored rabbits to the white will help the white rabbits because they will become hidden in the snow and white of the North Pole surroundings.
  • Answers
  • 1-A: So the animals that don't camouflage get eaten instead of the other animals  because they stand out in their enviornment.  1-B: They tend to make more offspring because they are stronger and so they are most likely to live longer and produce more than weaker animals.  1-C: Artificial and natural selection are different because natural is an instinct when artificial selection is a choice made. However, they both are selections and they both impact the populations of species on earth
  • Because of their white color, the rabbits with white fur will live longer than the ones with tan fur.  They will be camouflaged against the predators
  • After time, the rabbits with the tan hair started to die off and the white hares became more dominant.  Those white fur hares produce more and more offspring and then becomes the most dominant.
  • The End
