  • Predestination
  • Heaven
  • Earth
  • Hell
  • Calvin's new ways of thinking.
  • T: This usually stands for "Total depravity:" Total depravity is a result of Adam and Eve's disobedience to God -- the Fall of Man -- sin has extended to all parts of every person's being: "his thinking, his emotions and his will." 1 U: This stands for "Unconditional Election." This is the concept of predestination: that God has divided humanity into two groups. One group is "the elected." The other are the one's to go to hell. L: This stands for "Limited atonement" or "Particular Redemption." This is the belief that Jesus did not die to save all humans. I: This stands for "Irresistible Grace:" This is the belief that every human whom God has elected will inevitably come to a knowledge of God P: This stands for "Perseverance of the saints:" This is the "Once saved, always saved" belief -- that everyone who has been saved will remain in that state.

  • TULIP is the way to think
  • God decides if the babies are going to heaven or hell before they are born. No babies are on earth because the babies have to die and go to heaven or Hell and none are going to stay on Earth after death

  • America
  • I'll make this new world better than any other!
  • Calvin spreads his beliefs around the world
  • Manifest destiny
  • "The Pilgrims believed that before the foundation of the world, God predestined to make the world, man, and all things. He also predestined, at that time, who would be saved, and who would be damned" (Mayflower History.com, 2016). The pilgrims believed in the same things John Calvin believed in. That means that America was founded on Calvinism.
  • After the pilgrims and the civil war America became what it is as we know it. George Washington had become president. America started on Calvin's beliefs.
  • Manifest Destiny was the 19th-century doctrine or belief that the expansion of the US throughout the American continents was both justified and inevitable.
  • America had spread just like Mannifest destiny!
