  • Daniel lives in Frankfurt. He is Jewish and it is the time of Hitler. Right now, Daniel is living his normal life; happy, easy. Suddenly, Hitler decides to make the Jews' lives miserable.
  • Part 4
  • All of the Jews, including Daniel, are forced to board a train. That train is heading to Lodz, Poland. They are told that it is a work camp, but they soon realize it is a camp for slave labor and for Nazis to kill Jews.

  • The Jews were transported to Auschwitz, known to be a death camp. Prisoners had to follow every order or else face unbearable torture or even death.  Starvation,  gas chambers, pits of fire and public executions were used to exterminate the Jews.
  •  The Jewish people had enough. They decided to start a rebellion. Daniel's uncle was a photographer. He decided to create proof of how the Nazis were treating the Jews. He took pictures of the gas chambers, the pit of fire, and concentration camps. This and other information helped the allies make Hitler surrender.
