  • Scene 2: After the King talks to the solider thane of Ross comes and informs him that the thane of Cawdor has betrayed them, and he is now defeated. Scotland has won the battle. The king decides to reward Macbeth for his brave actions by naming him than of Cawdor when the previous one is executed.
  • The Scottish generals Macbeth and Banquo fought with great courage and violence. Macbeth has defeated them
  • Any news about the Scots’ battle with the Irish invaders, who are led by the rebel Macdonwald.

  • Scene 3: The witches were awaiting the arrival of Macbeth and then he and Banquo come to report to Duncan at Forres. Each of the witches greets​ Macbeth as a king, which​ made him confused. The witches also predict Banquo' future He then knows he is now Thane of Cawdor.

  • Scene 7: Macbeth is debating commitiing murder when Lady Macbeth walks in and tries to convince him. She tells him he will be a coward in her eyes if he does not kill Duncan. Macbeth agrees to her plan.
