will you take part in my study?
Asch asked people to take part in his study by telling them it was a vision test, this was to deceive them to get more accurate results.

He only asked male graduates in the us to take part.

the study began and with each participant they were placed in a row after four fake participants.
75% of participants conformed at least once
the four fake participants answered before the real participant they only said 12 incorrect answers with 18 tests.
Asch's conduced this experiment to test whether people would conform and give the same wrong answer or if they would answer correctly.
in the end he gathered the results which showed 75% conformed at least once, 32% conformed every time and 25% didn't conform.
