Hi, Since its snowing I guess I will be talking about blizzards. Blizzards are common in the Upper Midwest and The Great Plains.
For a Blizzard to be created, the warm air must rise over the cold air.
Blizzards can cause damage by causing the power lines to collapse.
In order to stay safe if you ever find yourself in a blizzard, stay away from downed power lines, and get a winter snow kit.
You can be prepared for this kind of weather if you gather non-perishable foods and a 3-day supply of water.
OK, I did not expect it to be snowing this long,
It just wont stop snowing
Though the worst blizzard ever recorded in history, was The Great Blizzard of 1888
It costed over $20,000,000 in property damage and killed over 400 people.
I am kind've getting concerned
It was so bad because there were sustained high winds and temperatures far below freezing.
It is getting late and I'm getting tired So I should get going, but I do have one more thing to say,
I have been in a blizzard, I was in first grade and it started snowing and it looked like it was falling hard. I could barely even see the trees out the window which were like at least 6ft away. But everyone was okay, but it was still really cold.
