Storyboard Description

In the exposition of the short story “Three Skeleton Key” written by George G. Toudouze, three lighthouse men get a visit by tons of rats that soon attack. It all started when Itchoua was sleeping, a window in his room had a metal sealing on it that opened one night and all the rats piled into his room. They started to attack him, but fortunately, Le Gleo and the narrator heard heard the commotion and ran down stairs to see what was the matter. Le Gleo, Itchoua, and the narrator all fought against the evil rats with their knives. Once the were finished fighting them, they closed the door and locked it on them. The three men killed some of the rats, however, still some remained alive. Later that day, the sharks helped take part in killing the rats too. They would put their belly's to the lighthouse and scoop up the rats. In conclusion, the story "Three Skeleton Key" was an interesting story about three lighthouse workers who had a frighting, memorable incident.

  • At 2:00 am, while Itchoua was sleeping in his room, a sheet of metal sealing in his window gave way for the rats to get in and they started to attack.
  • Le Gleo and the narrator came down stairs and found Itchoua being attacked by tons of rats. The three men all fought against the evil rats and defeated them. They locked the door and closed it on them.
  • "The sharks took part. Belly up, mouths gaping, they arrived in swarms and scooped up the rats, sweeping through them like a sickle through wheat. That was one day that sharks really served a useful purpose."
