  •  Between the two centuries 10 and 8, the Legend of the founding of Rome is cleared in this way. Romulus and Remus, two brothers who found out they were both the heirs to the king. Romulus killed Remus and became king, he was
  • Julius Caesar
  •  They would have a Senate and a government system which is like our government today, this meant that the senate would be the most powerful man in government. In 509 B.C. the Roman government had decided to make a republic which meant that everyone gets to vote and have some rights. There were two parties and or groups named the Plebeians and Patricians. 
  • The Early Roman Empire
  • The Romans had made a similar league, close to what the Greeks did. By the 4th century B.C. Rome had conquered the Italian lands and Greece. After conquering many peoples in other empires, Rome decided to let the conquered people have rights and become Roman citizens if patient. 
  • Caesar Augustus and Pax Romana
  • Peace Treaty    There will be peace in Rome. Keep away from anger, killing, stealing, hating, etc. Love one another and keep peace between each other. Sign                                      
  • Julius Caesar was elected in 59 b.c. where he created an army and had much support from the poor.  He was an aristocrat  who died in March of August 15, 44 B.C. Stabbed to death by the senate, many others have died of the group of power.
  • Antony and Octavian were friends and splitting dictatorship. Antony fell in love with Cleopatra. Antony and Cleopatra committed suicide due to the stress and the hiding from the Roman Empire. This happened in 31 B.C.
  • Caesar Augustus was originally Octavian but soon came to power from his father's death.  The Pax Ramona was a 200 year span of peace in the Roman Empire. It was created in 30 B.C. and lasted until A.D. 1801.
