Storyboard Text

  • Why are all the lights in Gatsby's house lit? And there is no sound...
  • Oh, I don't want to put you to any trouble.
  • Hello Gatsby! I talked with Miss Baker, so I am going to invite Daisy to tea tomorrow.
  • But, how about the day after tomorrow? I want to get your grass cut.
  • It is 2:00 AM. Nick comes home and sees that all the lights in Gatsby's house are lit. First, he thinks it might be another party but there is no sound.
  • Old sport, you don't make much money right?
  • Well, I have a little confidential business where you could have a bit of money. It wouldn't take you much time.
  • Not really.
  • Arriving to his house, Nick sees Gatsby walking toward him. They begin a conversation.
  • Hello Daisy, would you like to come to tea at my house tomorrow?  Yes?  Also, please don't bring Tom.
  • Gatsby begins to look at Nick's garden.
  • Mr. Gatsby sends me over to cut your grass.
  •  Gatsby tries to offer some confidential business to Nick. But Nick is upset and don't want to get into any suspicious problems.
  • I'm much obliged but I couldn't take any more work.
  • Next morning, Nick calls her cousin Daisy to invite her to tea the following day.
  • At 11:OO AM, a man knocks at Nick's front door.
